Where do you access The West Pier and Resistence Modes?

I can't find it on the map, haven't played in 3 years - how do I get to the new area and matchmake for the horde mode?

The log-in splash screen explanations for Update 1.8 explain in text how to access Resistance -- imho they should've used a map screenshot to more carefully explain where to find these, and where West Side Pier is.

I don't feel the map is close enough about West Side Pier. Basically, it's an area on the far Northwest part of the main game map -- borders the water. I'll post a screenshot soon.

I'll login and share a map screenshot soon, but this login explanation shot will at least explain a bit about the Resistance "arenas."

I find "arenas" a misnomer. These are basically just entries to large areas designed for Resistance but they just look like entry door areas to a pier or a warehouse area, not some 'sports arena' :)

Can you matchmake for Resistence? I'm at camp clinton now but don't see a matchmaking hub

You have to go to an actual Resistance arena entry point. THEN you'll see (if kb/mouse) a "Press F to matchmake" button I think.

To better explain the new areas, the whole "West Pier" term is confusing because there is no such label on the map -- "West Pier" is just a summary term for the TWO new areas:

To FURTHER confuse us, when you "mouseover" the area, the label disappears -- you have to look to the upper right of the map interface to see the big PIERS NORTH or PIERS SOUTH area.

I believe PIERS SOUTH has ONE Resistance Arena entry point (marked by icon once you encounter it); and PIERS SOUTH has TWO Resistance Arena entry points. At least, this is how many I've discocvered so far.

When you approach the arena entrance area, you will see a prompt for Resistance mode, and I believe the Resistance "splash screen" includes a matchmaking option.

CAUTION: Be careful at these entry points because they may be camped by AI Enemies. Camp Clinton is in the Piers South, but it can be a long jog back to Resistance arena points. Don't try to matchmake unless you are certain the resistance arena entry point is cleared of enemies on the piers map.

Also, the "Piers West" alert system may periodically prompt you for random missions on the Piers maps. This is NOT part of the Resistance mode; but because you may get these alerts while standing at the Resistance arena entry point, it can get confusing.

Resistance Mode involves surviving endless incoming wave attacks inside an essentialy enclosed 'arena'. It doesn't involve mission objectives out on the new Piers areas per se.

Once you go to the resistance entry points on the map you can fast travel to them like any other mission.

The New pier site it's on the left top on map near the incursions, If you zoom in you will see some icons that icons represents the resistence mode in each area. There's also the phones to search containing the calls about keener and other characters.
