best way to farm hunters in underground?

do they spawn more on challenging compared to hard? 3 phase compared to 1 phase? any info would be great trying to farm the sting mask :D

challenging as far as i know, in 3 phase they only spawn once in the whole run

They spawn on Hard & Difficult, they can spawn only once per phase (so max 3 times if you are doing 3 phases) and they will always spawn with 1 more (if you solo, there will be 2 hunters spawning. In full group, 5 will spawn)

For the Sting mask you need i believe 200 hunters killed, so it will take you a while. Also, on that commendation, it will only count if *you* put the last bullet in the hunter. So it's a pain in the ass.

ahh thanks... well ♥♥♥♥ that sucks about the last bullet i was wondering why i was stuck at 18 today even though i helped kill around 10

Yes the whole "last bullet" thing is such BS... why would you make it that way in a co-op game? This just pits team mates against each other and encourages you to play solo especially if you play a support role to counter the shock stuff. Makes people give up on teamwork to chase the kill.

best way i got mine done. was doing 2-3 phases on custom hard on tier 1. then fast travel back to the beginning so you can restart so you dont have to waste time finishing the rest of the phases unless youre on the last phase.

Yes, it's the dumbest thing i'v encountered so far with the commendations. There is also an other mask that is fairly easy to get, kill 5 hunters in UG, Survival and Resistance. If you kill those 15, you also get a mask, but i assume you already have that one.
