Tom Clancy's The Division

Statistiche:
The problem with the Dark Zone.
If you've been in the Dark Zone recently and are less than level 15, you probably already know about this.
Recently, there has been a large rise of groups of Level 99 people in the Dark Zone area with weapons that don't compare to those of lower levels and, of course, does nothing but make the Dark Zone unplayable for lower levels because of the fact these people usually just go on a manhunt and camp checkpoints.
There's probably nothing people can do about this, but just incase there actually is, I'm just making a thread here.
It's not that I'm 'salty' or anything, as I'm not losing anything when I walk out of a checkpoint and get immedietly killed by level 99 Rogues, but it's just not fun. And the fact that the Dark Zone has valuable weapons and gear makes it a bit fustrating for lower levels, as we can't get the items we need to progress without running around and doing side missions that are on other sides of the map.
So, the point is, can we actually do anything about these people? Because, if not, it makes the Dark Zone almost impossible to go about.

That is the key to the problem of the DZ honestly.

The people in there have the best gear but the devs make it so you get the best drops in there where they don't need it. So low levels are just herded in like sheep to the slaughter.

The only way to make the devs do something different is to not go to the DZ at all. If the devs see that people get slaughtered and never go back they will do something. If you just go back in there they have no reason to change it.

tldr stay out of the DZ until they fix it.

And it’s not even just the low levels either; I’m even seeing people just straight up camping level 20-30 checkpoints and spamming music while they kill everyone with a pistol.
I’d have to agree that staying out would probably be the best option at this point, since it seems I can’t even walk .1km without being chased by one of them.
I feel like just locking off the lower level parts of the Dark Zone once you’ve reached a certain Dark Zone level would be better.

OK I am a level 99 I go to DZ for div tech and sometimes just to explore the place when I hear the noise of screaming groups make noise it's a manhunt I go the other way ,also there are more than one enterance to the DZ and a big weapon I use my abilities pulse this is a great tool to stay away from others , hope I helped and yes I have died many times and lost my hard earned treasure I found to some butt hole and I agree it should have zones none pvp and I must add all the time I.ve been in there I have just one kill to my name been killed over thousand times it don't bother me.
Yeah I usually don't have much of a problem there unless I try to extract something. Which sucks, but that would be fine with me just to farm tech except sometimes you gotta kill some npcs and when they drop an exotic or cache its really hard to just leave it laying there. I still find plenty to do outside the DZ but man would I love to play in the DZ without rogues. I just can't bring myself to do it when the rogue element exists. Kinda sucks.
I feel like Rogue is a great addition to the game, as its what makes the Dark Zone much more than just an NPC farm zone. But when you have Rogues no one can defeat because they’re practically smurfing without consequence? It gets annoying.

The problem is you cannot have one without the other and its why their initial plan to force everyone into the DZ for end game progression failed. Players have proved time and time and time again that if you give them any opportunity to cheat, exploit or grief, someone WILL do it even if everyone knows its unhealthy for the game. The world has crappy people in it, this games theme has that fact built into its storyline. So games simply cannot gate content behind mechanics that trust in some ideal that everyone will play fairly no matter how good it looks on paper. You just cannot trust people to do the right thing. Someone will disappoint you and ruin it for everyone every. single. time.
Think of Rogues as the big bosses. You have too figure a way to beat them. It does feel good when yu do . I was extracting and a rogue came up, I fought him off long enough for rope to go up then I died, It was close though. I stayed and panned camera when onother rogue came and they fought to the death... Crazy.
Perhaps add invisible mode where you cannot get targetted by rogues. Or add different kind of "best" item/gear exclusive to DZ while still be able to get something similar in PvE.
I haven't had a problem with that, yet. :3
Maybe just a simple "choice" of wether to take part in PVP, as in you cant be killed by another player, but neither can you kill another player either. So you cant take advantage of a low health player just to rob him/her of their hard earned loot, the same as no one can do it to you!!
Why does it have to be hard? Surely that is a fairly simple change for the devs to make?
Players love to have choices, give them another one!! :)

The point is that You can't beat them, because they're level 99 and have weapons and gear that are WAY more powerful than, lets say, a level 15.
My idea still stands that once you reach a certain DZ level, maybe 50, It locks you from going Rogue in the level 14-18 DZ areas.
Just add Pulse "Scrambler" to hide yourself from enemies pulse scans. There are also so many "checkponts" to enter for them to camp each one, since the server is limited to a certain amount of players. I doubt each checkpoint entrance has a rougue.

Had to check since your asking the question, but I doubt you enter the DZ much with only 20hrs of playtime. I didn't enter DZ until after some decent PvP gear and a teammate helping to boost my character to lvl 30.

Also try a different time of the day, afternoons in my time zone seems to be the most active in terms of people going rougue for the thrill.

As I do have 20 hours in the game, I went in the dark zone once I reached a reasonable level, maybe 10. I got good weapons, didn't mind that I got killed by some level 15 rogues, and then left.
But when I come back and just see everyone running away from 1 level 99 Rogue thats just killing everyone for sport with their extremely powerful gear, it's a bit stupid. And when I do leave, I try to come back and there are more level 99 Rogues camping checkpoints, so I have no choice but to leave.
I've played the game enough, hours don't matter if you have enough skill (unless its maybe less than 10). And, once again, I also see others that are my level just being killed by these people, and it makes it unplayable for not just me. And just so you get a grasp, most of the hours are in the DZ (maybe an estimated 7 or 8 hours outside).
Besides, I think almost a full day worth of gaming is enough to know the problem, especially when its not just me encountering these types of people.

Dark Zone level is meaningless. It is just a level system to show level of activity in that certain aspect of the game.

If you have better PvP gear, skills etc, then you will beat people regardless of their dark zone level.

The Dark Zone is a PvP zone. Complaning that people are PvPing at a higher function than what you can handle is a personal problem. Roam in groups, and most of the problems complained here will be solved.

The game has been out for a year, expecting you can walk into the Dark Zone with 10-25 hours in the game and be on equal grounds with everyone is insane. There is plenty of PvE stuff now that is actually better to farm for better gear than the Dark Zone.

The complaint that your being spawn camp in the DZ is silly, You can teleport to different checkpoints or better yet change servers.

You should be making threads asking for people to group up or help you in the DZ instead of complaining about a aspect in the game that is in the best state it has been since release.
i thought the zone was capped by levels? so if you are max level you can enter any darkzone in the game? that is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up and broken. there is such a simple fix, if the level gap is above X then those players cannot interact in pvp with each other. simple solution.. i thought i saw something about someone having an issue in a group with a friend because the friends level was too high for the zone
