1) If you go to a different checkpoint, they follow you.
2) Lower levels grouping up doesn't work, as I've done with about 8 lower levels to try to kill them, and we can't. Because they have extremely powerful weapons, and no one can kill them. And what's sad is that you say that it is in the best state, yet people are staying OUT of the DZ because its not fun when you have people slaughtering you, as you can't extract anything at all since they are level 99 and have gear that isn't even near comparable to others. The fact is that if they blocked off the higher levels from going rogue in the lower level area, it would be a much better place for people.
3) Dark Zone level isn't meaningless, because the higher the Dark Zone level, the better gear they can get from the checkpoints. Which makes it extremely stupid when you have people of that magnitude just going in and killing everybody SOLO. (If the first point of that is wrong, sorry for that.) The fact is, it's only playable for anyone lower than maybe 50 if the level 99 Rogues aren't online.
either make it so if the gap is too big the larger player can not attack the smaller one unless attacked first or the lower player is rogue already. this is such an easy thing to implement. another thing is they could improve the way these people get killed and why you would kill them..
if someone is doing this then there needs to be some type of bounty system that goes out into all of the world for everyone to see and they can start hunting them. it would send an alert thru the entire game saying player X has a bounty and the reward would be pretty significant so that people with good gear who maybe don't care about pvp will go into the area because they will see them on the map and go kill them.. this type of system would make those people think twice.
maybe once you reach a point of killing so many people of 10 levels or more lower or some other parameter the game starts sending friendly AI to kill you. the good guys in the game, jtf or whatever they are called.. after you do enough bad ♥♥♥♥ you get jtf elites who hunt you down and these guys would make the toughest enemies in the game look like little fluffy unicorns
Also, people make it sound like it's just Rogues hunting down squishy farmers. That's not the whole picture. You always have other PvP'ers join the fight and stop the rogues eventually. One guy literally spammed chat today, asking if someone can please take care of the stupid rogues killing farmers. And trust me, someone did.
On many occasions you have rogues that don't even steal your garbage. Check the chat window if the guy says "you can have your stuff back". Hell, I sometimes even call the extraction chopper for the guy. Or ask if you can join them and learn from them?
And don't get me started about the literal dozens of people camping the manhunt terminals since 1.8. Messing with rogues and manhunts has never been easier, folks. Just get your head out of your rears and team up. Put in a little effort and do some research as to what gear to equip. And for christ's sakes at least put on some toughness.
Most of all: Don't take it personal. It just happens, and rogues like to shoot first and ask questions later.
Dark Zone level has nothing to do with loot drop. Its world Tier.
Stop saying lvl 99 are killing you, and start saying,
"People with better skill are beating me, because im too slow to understand that people have better gear than me, because i only have 25 hours on the game and too slow to understand how I can gear up fast and easy in PvE enviroments until I can hold my own in the DZ."
I can think of worse games for PVP...
Now with the benefits of fully optimized classified gear the disparity is even greater for new people. Just do not go in there until it gets fixed.
