Long Initial Load Time

So just got this game over the weekend, and really enjoying it. However, I am noticing that the initial launch screen, before you get to the character screen, is taking a very very long time. And I am talking 4-5 mins long. Everything else loads fine, fast travel, loading screen after character screen, and joining friends are fast loads. I have an SSD, and a pretty decent rig that I just built this year. So I dont think hardware is to blame. Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated!!

Normal. I got one of the fastest SSD's on the market and my load time is around 2 minutes sometimes 3.

yeah i have samsung ssd and specs to run game max out no issues, but same ♥♥♥♥.

I've just clocked my start, 1:16 till character selection and another 42 seconds till in-game.
Game is installed on Raid0 array of 3 disks.

it takes a while to initally load, then it takes 1-4 minute to connect to server then about 30 seconds to load the level. I will say though once your in it runs great and no issues.

Takes me 1 min with average ssd

I think the time to character selection is highly dependent on the speed and quality of your internet connection and the load on servers at the time.
