Are solo incursions too hard?
I think maybe they are?
I would never ask that a game be nerfed in any way. I'm a firm believer in the "git gud" motto.
I've always believed a game is what it is and you should learn to play it instead of getting it dumbed down to your noobiness.

But this game is designed to make you fail if you run solo.
Like Dragon's Nest requires two players minimum to complete without an exploit or glitch.
Even Clear Skies...I have gotten over 100 kills in one run and never have won the incursion. I got TWO Field Profeciency Cashes in one run and never even breached the door. The waves of baddies appear to be infinite...is there a number? After 30 minutes of duking it out,I usually just run off. I don't even know if I was close or not. Do the bad guys ever end?

The incursions should scale to the number of players and at the very minimum be POSSIBLE to complete solo...Looking at you Dragon's Nest.

Education would be better than a nerf.

How do you do it?

As a solo Division player I agree. The scale between Incursion enemies/players could be a little more balanced.

The Dev's have said that Incursions are geared towards groups, not solo players. Since you can get any piece of gear anywhere in the game now, it's kind of a moot point to do them unless you want the challenge.

And to this point, no, the waves do not end.
From my experience, Incursions are really meant to be done by a group, 3+ players. Also, note that clearing them is only a matter of prestige, the rewards can be obtained anywhere else.

But on topic, from my experience again, I think at least Clear Sky, but potentially all of them, have unlimited baddies. 30 minutes+ of fighting them would have exhausted any typical encounter in a regular situation.
It's somewhat silly because even them shouldn't have unlimited supplies of men/women in my opinion, but I see why they did it, and I guess you do too :p

The three missions aren't technically designed for solo play. You have this with almost every major online RPG genre title. There are areas only accessible in groups. You can do these missions solo, but it isn't something you are going to breeze through.

I got about half way through Clear Skies and Dragons Nest but it took so long I just called it quits in the end.

The Reward was not worth the effort.

You can do these missions solo,

But you can't.
Dragon's nest requires you to be in two places at the same time to finish it.

And this game,at it's core,is a single player game with a co-op.
When you load the game, you are in the game. No waiting for other players.

Imagine the frustration of the first player to solo Dragon's nest only to find out all that time and effort was wasted. You can literally do everything right and get nothing.

I don't mind multiplayer only missions. This is different.

All incursions requires to be at 2 places in same time so you can't complete them solo.

You load up World of Warcraft alone as well, but you can't solo raids or most instances as well. Same with any other MMO-style game. This is the reason there is a matchmaking system in The Division (albiet not a great one). This is the ONE thing that is in game that requires a group. Personally I think it needs MORE of these, because you can get literally anything and everything from doing anything else. This is Massive's solution to trying to cater to both solo players and players who would prefer to group.

If you add me on Uplay (Dracus_VoV) I'd be more than willing to do them with anyone who wants.

That would do nothing to help solo a mission.
They shouldn't even appear on the map for a solo player...let alone let a solo player start the mission and grind for hours when it is impossible to even finish.

If it is offered as a single player mission,it should be possible. Simple as that.
If it's not possible in any way to complete, don't allow me to try. lol
Or just say it's not possible from the start. I might grind it a little anyway. I did get a ♥♥♥♥ ton of XP for the tries. No other way to get 200 kills in 15 minutes. lol
Grey0n3 29. des. 2016 kl. 22.06
well, considering it's an mmo - who said anything about solo player map?
but anyway - it was said that after campaign (solo), rest of the game is more team oriented........

dragon nest do require min 2 people - have to press buttons at same time
as for 2 other incursions - don't remember you had to be in 2 places at same time???

This discussion is completely moot.
Incursions are heard for groups.
Always have been always will be.
Any other complaint/opinion is a waste of time.

Would it really hurt you if they made them possible to solo?
Seriously...what would it hurt? Why does it seem to hurt you to hear it?
