I use the division discord to group up for SS.
Since my friends quit division no more SS for me.
Even the easiest incursion (CS) with randoms might be a pain and I often just leave group.
Ppl dont know how to do stuff and dont google anything hoping others will hard carry them
Guess I need to get the heroic out of the way now while it is still possible
ubisoft hears: gamers want their games to be short and easy, and to not require much effort or skill or strategy at all (unless you count google'd cheese tactics). That's why they nerfed the loot drops in 1.3, nerfed enemy health in 1.4, and made just about every incursion easily cheesable with next to 0 actual communication required.
seriously, if the incursion is too hard for you then play something else. I've had no issues completing stolen signal with a communicating team. That's always been the purpose of the incursions, to require teamwork and communications. there's plenty of other ways to get loot if you don't feel like interacting with other players, don't try and get them to nerf the one remotely challenging thing left in this game.
Fair points except enemy health needed to nerfed in 1.4, enemies were just far too spongy, the time to kill has gotten to a good point where you feel like your weapons have an effect but there is still a degree of challenge. I'm sorry but just making enemies that are just a walking bullet sponge where you gave to unload thousands of bullets to kill isn't my idea of innovative, fun or challenging game play especially given the setting of the game. If this were a Science fiction or fantasy based game fighting robots, aliens, mutants, or monsters but we're not.
I'm just speaking from personal experience. The game was more rewarding back then, and I never experienced and unreasonable amount of "bullet sponginess". Of course, I had a solid group that I regularly played with so there's that. Enemies were tougher to kill only because they required more coordination. Snipers and machinegunners forced you into cover, shotgunners flushed you out, and you had to prioritize which ones to take out first; weak points are almost totally irrelevant now, except for certain bosses, since everything can be melted with sustained headshots. I wouldn't even say enemies were tough then, they're just extremely easy now.
Sure you need other players to do incursions, but as long as everyone can follow the most-googled cheese tactic or exploit for that incursion then no one really needs to talk. And that's what the people wanted. Not a team-based game with heavy comms like what we got in the trailers; rather a virtually soloable game where high DPS and Skill Power trump any need to really ever even interact with your teammates. And threads like this are exactly why, people would rather complain to the devs to make things easier rather than experience the satisfaction of overcoming a difficult challenge.
However you will need a maxxed character at the very least to complete these on Heroic. Honestly dont even bother unless youve done challenging 5 or more times for both of these. I suggest those of you having difficulty look at some video guides. I know Marco Style (Youtuber) was/is working on one (at least he said so in one of his vids) and he likely has a video of a 5minute Clear Sky run IIRC.
Also if youre finding matchmaking an issue go to chat or look for some skilled players on the forums here or at ubisoft.
Once youve completed these a few dozen times you wont find them difficult at all. Infact you will know by the behaviour of you comrades if a run will result in a win or a loss.
You read my mind! Could have been easy just by having a command menu like in KF where you could give basic commands to your team mates. So you could at least coordinate tactics to some degree.

You sir are missing the point entirely. The entire idea of any incursion is over the top hence, creates a false sense of elitism just because you, that one guy or gal that deems it only for the chosen few who care to put themselves through that hell more than once.
Step back and take a hard look at any and all incursions and I mean REALLY take a hard look (which I have numerous times) when the entire team is behind one item (cover) be it a damn box, desk, car and etc. throwing out health in whatever form or item it maybe just to be able to peek up and go for the fast kill while the entire floor is on fire, being fired upon in all diminsions (top, both sides and rear) and god knows whatever else no matter how bad a.... your build is, its still a mindless act of tedious redo's. Yes, I have seen and will continue to see the best of of the best drop dead...its all a matter of luck and patience and waaaay to much...just to much of 'this really isnt necessary' mechanics.
I have yet to see this so called 'cheese' each time i hear this only tells me one thing. Someone is so full of themselves...NO one goes through an incursion and breezes through it..NO ONE unless however...yeah lets not go there.
Either way, the incursions could be reworked, cleaned up, not to make them easier but to make sense...make it fun, not a cringe worthy experience that makes me laugh so hard each time i do an incursion. Massive missed an golden oppertunity with a game that may or may not have been as as one of the best shooter looters of all time..
One last thing, I would advise that attitude get some adjustment with the population as it is, just smile and give as much help and positive reinforcement where one can. That one new person wants to be just as successful as you do...kindness goes along ways. Youtube vidoes do absolutely nothing but add more confusion....TEACH!!! but do it with a smile. One can not afford to blow off anyone just due to gear, skill level and or etc. or else enjoy playing solo...
