Best Level To Enter Dark Zone?
The game has changed a lot since I played last and I started a new character. Is the dark zone friendly to low levels? I am lvl 11 right now. When should I try the dark zone again?

Pre-level 30, the DZ is split into brackets. Levels 1-14, 15-19, 20-24, and 25-29. Obviously you don't want to go into the first one at level 4, and have to worry about running into someone who's level 14.

But as far as how "friendly" the DZ is, the answer to that is the same for all levels - it all depends on how nice the other people are that you come across. I, thankfully, never had an issue with running into other people in the DZ until I got to level 29, and was farming DZ currency so I could buy stuff as soon as I hit level 30.

This. I usually run solo, farming Div-Tech and daily DZ missions, and when I run across other players I never know whether my attempts to cover their back(s) will end with them putting bullets in mine.
It's not a part of the game I love, since I prefer to be a stand-up guy and 'team player', but that very uncertainty is something you accept by entering the Dark Zone.

DZ is kill or get killed. If you're lucky you won't run into wackos, but if luck is not with you and you come across some of them, they'll keep grieving you until they get killed or until you leave the server. My friends and I came across a few of them and after a few fights in which we got killed, we ultimately killed all of them. We just changed our gear and tactics.
Keep an eye out for single players who "challange" you. Mostly they're not alone; they just want you to go rogue so him and his friends can go after you.
Make sure you have a strong build if going into the DZ or go with a good team.

With 1.6 it doesn't matter if you die. U don't lose experience/credits. U still drop items but that's about it. Just go in and have some fun. If u run into Grievers then just go do some pve n come back later. Since u are at that lvl i suppose dz1 is ur only option?

Once you hit around level 20 go to dark zone and try to find the contaminated areas(red) on the map. If you have the required filter level look for square shaped loot boxes. That is a good way to farm purple items(Purple items are the second best in the game and you will be using them a lot in the 20s). Then just extract. If you are alone then try to extract on roof top extraction sites. They are a little more safer lol.
