I agree though, the more I look at it the more I realize the Dark Zone was just a terrible idea from the start. It's great for people who like shooting people in the back or running around in gank squads, but for those of us interested in actual PvP or just exploration, it's a toxic environment.
Just follow one of the Division streamers and copy his build. Then get 3 friends with the same build. Thats your balance, according to these devs, fire with fire.
DZ used to be fun when it was where you had to go to get the best loot. Loot used to be nothing but purple drops, but after 1.4 they buffed the ♥♥♥♥ out of the drops and made it so just about everything you find after level 30 is either gold or gear set green. For some reason, I was more OK being killed by someone when I had something that I really wanted than I am being killed by someone over some BS item they could have easily found themselves. It used to be worth it to go into the DZ, actual "high risk high reward" where the focus was on finding loot and extracting it. Now it's just the place where you go if you want to kill other players, with a bonus that they might have good loot on them when you do.
I hope there is a developer reading this, and I hope you understand that your PR department, however robust and intricate it may be, is completely failing you guys right now with this game and your feedback and correspondence with your community. That's the reason this game gets so much hate, because the developers leave so much up to our imagination when it comes to the future of this game.
For a balanced game everyone needs to have the same amount of power and health which means that they have to get rid of all those different kind of gear skills, talents and so on. And that's not going to happen. That would be admitting that the concept is a big mistake.
The concept is designed to provide everyone with his/her own choice of build which ultimately always will result in overpowered and underpowered players. So, whatever changes they have in mind for 1.6 it will never balance the gameplay in the DZ.
Furthermore it's very difficult or even impossible to copy someone else's build due to the RNG (random number generator). In this game you need to have alot of luck to get the right gear, weapons and roll. If the RNG is not in your favor, you'll have a hard time finding and getting what you want or need.
Some of my friends had spend more than a few hundred millions on getting the right roll in all the gear and they've spend hundreds and hundreds of hours grinding/farming for the right gear and weapons.
The game is what it is and we deal with it or simply play another game...
When I bought Division I knew that DZ is pure anarchy, did I have right on that one? High expectations is just dumb when it comes to games.
Would be hilarious if you keep doing that when they'd fixed that glitch and you get shot to bits...lol.
But the PvP was interesting in Phantoms.
even used by a no skill player like me
