The DZ is so unbalanced.
When I played the game in beta it was a lot of fun, but going in there alone with people way over ranked is pointless. How the f.. are you supposed to do anything when you got sum kidoos going after low rank people then they think they are good. Anyone can do that. Why not have it balanced? Like have DZ people with your rank.makes no sense. Then someones shoots me so I shoot back then it says I went rogue. That makes no sense either.

Well, if Massive ever releases 1.6 we will find out if making the DZ larger is enough to get rid of the gank squads.

I agree though, the more I look at it the more I realize the Dark Zone was just a terrible idea from the start. It's great for people who like shooting people in the back or running around in gank squads, but for those of us interested in actual PvP or just exploration, it's a toxic environment.

When you got The Division, what did you hear about dark zone?

DZ rank has nothing to do with weapon dmg or dmg mitigation. As for 'balance'',you can forget that too. (You know who develops this game right?)
Just follow one of the Division streamers and copy his build. Then get 3 friends with the same build. Thats your balance, according to these devs, fire with fire.

Well I had it pre-ordered, and after playing the division beta I thought the Dark Zone would be fun since back then people hadn't figured out all the exploits and cheese and people still just played it to have fun. It was a lot like GTA online, where sometimes other players would attack you and sometimes they wouldn't (as opposed to now where they always attack you).

DZ used to be fun when it was where you had to go to get the best loot. Loot used to be nothing but purple drops, but after 1.4 they buffed the ♥♥♥♥ out of the drops and made it so just about everything you find after level 30 is either gold or gear set green. For some reason, I was more OK being killed by someone when I had something that I really wanted than I am being killed by someone over some BS item they could have easily found themselves. It used to be worth it to go into the DZ, actual "high risk high reward" where the focus was on finding loot and extracting it. Now it's just the place where you go if you want to kill other players, with a bonus that they might have good loot on them when you do.

And since Massive refuses to expand upon the LZ or add any new story missions (the only reason why I bought a season pass), the only thing there is to do really after 30 is go into the DZ. Which is why once Wildlands comes out, you are probably going to see a steep decline in this game's population and the amount of updates it receives.

I hope there is a developer reading this, and I hope you understand that your PR department, however robust and intricate it may be, is completely failing you guys right now with this game and your feedback and correspondence with your community. That's the reason this game gets so much hate, because the developers leave so much up to our imagination when it comes to the future of this game.

Ya hard to find friends that want to play it, because of the issues. In beta I had a great time, because everyone started off with with the same gear, and rank. As you rank up the higher the gear is. So it is unbalanced like crazy.

Ya I really want Wildlands, and may get it but hooping there's pvp in it as well. I hate getting games where you beat the game then there's nothing else to do. SO pvp would be great in wildlands.

Whoever thinks that this game will ever be balanced is still living in a fantasy. C'mon everyone knows that the concept does NOT allow balance. Whatever they do (or not) it will never get any balance in this game. They tried and promised it with every upcoming patch but the only thing they accomplished is making things worse.
For a balanced game everyone needs to have the same amount of power and health which means that they have to get rid of all those different kind of gear skills, talents and so on. And that's not going to happen. That would be admitting that the concept is a big mistake.
The concept is designed to provide everyone with his/her own choice of build which ultimately always will result in overpowered and underpowered players. So, whatever changes they have in mind for 1.6 it will never balance the gameplay in the DZ.
Furthermore it's very difficult or even impossible to copy someone else's build due to the RNG (random number generator). In this game you need to have alot of luck to get the right gear, weapons and roll. If the RNG is not in your favor, you'll have a hard time finding and getting what you want or need.
Some of my friends had spend more than a few hundred millions on getting the right roll in all the gear and they've spend hundreds and hundreds of hours grinding/farming for the right gear and weapons.
The game is what it is and we deal with it or simply play another game...

Wildlands is crap. I mean there is a game called Arma 3, way better.

When I bought Division I knew that DZ is pure anarchy, did I have right on that one? High expectations is just dumb when it comes to games.

It's a PvP zone with gear that is based on RNG. How do you expect balance in that when even two players wearing the exact same gear will not have the same stats?

The new "pro" meta is to just glitch out your hitbox with the "server lag walk", where you twitch your character around with such speed that the server can't track your precise position and so just makes your hitbox disappear.

Since MarcoStyle's videos on how to do it, people seem to have perfected it so that you don't even have to sprint around to glitch it out. I've encountered and seen on streams, several people who can just do it while standing in one place, have 3 or more people shooting at them at point blank, and take literally no damage.

I'm sure there's several "legit" ways to do that, but the end result is the same, as long as you can keep your character spazing like an Agent from the Matrix, you're unkillable. Be warned that the moment you stop twitching, you will be vulnerable again. So avoid stun turrets and grenades that will immobilize you.

Once you learn to do that, you don't need friends, groups, gear, etc to PvP.

Would be hilarious if you keep doing that when they'd fixed that glitch and you get shot to bits...lol.

Personally I'd prefer the PvP like in Future Soldier. That was balanced and a cover based PvP instead of dancing and rolling around like a bunch of headless chickens, while emptying clip after clip and popping whatever you have in store for the other...lol.

I played Phantoms for a short while but it was a pay2win game. You can play it for free but if you want to have better stuff etc, you need to pay for that. So, that wasn't a succes either.
But the PvP was interesting in Phantoms.

The only good thing about the 1.6 patch is the non-rogue players wont be dropping dz experience and currency from being killed by a rogue player. I find this great news to be honest. Already bad enough that the game is basically a school yard bully beating up people for there lunch money and toys as is.

i am hilariously bad at the dz (ps4) but my problem with this, is that certain builds can melt
even used by a no skill player like me
