Contamination event bug?

Just tried to do a contamination even, except the entire time the filter level was a skull and it insta killed me, and this just kept up unti eventually the timer ran out and the event ended. What the ♥♥♥♥ ubi?

if you sure that this was bug, report it on pinned topic or official forum support, there is NO ubi workers on social discussions, and no one will hear you from there.

or maybe you should only do contamination event when it says eliminate the threat as objectives not before than that

This is not a bug. As the max filter you can have is 4. However during a contamination event the filter required is between 5-8 (8 being the highest and after 2,5 minutes it drops to 5). And you need a immunizer to keep you alive. That is if you want to do it before as AidenPearce said.

However i'd recomment doing that in a group if you plan on going down before hand;)

Yeah, I've done a few before but it always dropped to 5 before and my health would drop slowly after it burned through my filter bar, instead it constantly had a skull instead of a number of any kind, and as soon as my filter was gone I dropped dead right away and had to respawn. No slow hp drop, just dead.

Yeah sometimes those contamination events get bugged during phase transition or when your group gets transferred to another server. I myself experienced this but very rarely. From my experience, if the filter level is not 5 during contamination event dont go to do it, even if objectives say eliminate the threat because no one will be there.
