Do the ISP control options do anything?

Aside from reassigning your IP, which is a massive pain and should only be done in extreme emergencies, the ISP control server has the option to flag a target IP for review or prioritize its traffic. I flagged Naix for fun and prioritized my own IP, but I haven't noticed anything different.

Has anyone found a use for these options, or some manner in which they impact the game? If nobody can turn anything up, they might just be flavour.

Dunno, maybe priority makes you go faster? And I believe in the end of the game it says you can trace any of the hackers so maybe you do it through them and somewhere it makes more information about those people.
