Stuck on Maiden Flight

So I have this weird issue. I've hacked the Bitwise Test PC but whenever I try to reply to the email I get a Mission Incomplete message.

Is there something specific I have to do on there to make this trigger? I've tried downloading Test_File.txt and also running Shell in the hopes that either of those might prove to the game that I have hacked it but I've had no luck.

I don't recall it needing anything special. Simply hacking in should be sufficient.

Did they ask you to provide the password in reply? Most missions you can reply wtvr, but a few of them you need to type in the password or information they requested. Not sure if this mission is one of those though. :/

Nah this isn't one of those ones... it's like the 3rd Bit mission, still tutorial level basically. I checked one of the walkthroughs here in the steam guides and apparently all you need to do is hack the server then email a reply. I guess this is a bug or something because it just wont accept the email.

The best thing to do would be to restart the game, and make sure you follow to a tee the instructions and don't try to go faster than what the steps are saying. It's probably just a trigger that didn't get flagged or something. :( Shame.

Or you can try "Onlink" instead. :D ;)

I ran into the same problem -- that server contains a TXT file with an IP for the address of a later server. If you hack the server given in the IP and receive the invitation to join the first hacker group, the tutorial series of missions will no longer work properly.
