Nortron Mainframe Bug

I hacked into the Nortron Mainframe, got admin privelages on the machine but when I go to tell Waix I have admin, it says mission incomplete. I deleted everything on the machine as well.

Am I missing something or is it just a game bug?

Also whenever I leave the machine and come back to it later, I have to hack back in and the admin privelages are gone.

Nevermind, all you had to do was forkbomb the system once you had admin privelages.

What I did was delete everything on the machine, logged in as admin, THEN forkbombed. Try everything in that order.

You're just supposed to hack into the mainframe, delete logs, and disconnect. That's all I did and never ran forkbomb on it.

My first run through with Naix, I used forkbomb on his root server instead of just disconnect and bugged my save so maybe forkbomb is causing a bug for you.

ForkBombing might be easier but if you read the email he ask you to change something on their entry page to D"CK to make fun of nortron

You're on the wrong mission. The D*cks objective is in the "gg wp" mission while the Nortron mainframe is in the "Hilarious" mission. Entirely different objectives.

I completed this mission before, but now that I have to replay again due to later bugs I'm stuck here. I have deleted everything from the mainframe, nothing, forkbombed, nothing. I don't know if I'm gonna keep restarting this game. I want to see the ending but dammit man.

I'm trying to do this now and once got admin for a few seconds which was gone before I could reply to the mail. Just tried for maybe 10th+ time immediately after dc and no good. Everything else seems to say go real fast, I can't get any faster than that.

-also just tried with forkbomb, server just disappeared.
-ok finally; hacked in, didn't delete logs, clicked mail icon the second porthack finished, reply, complete. Deleted logs after (seems access didn't refresh as quickly after the mission completed :P)

What worked for me was hacking in, deleting logs, disconnecting, and immediately going and replying to the email. I think if you wait a few seconds before replying, it doesn't detect that you succeeded.

Nevermind, all you had to do was forkbomb the system once you had admin privelages.

What worked for me is: you have to hack into Mainframe, then connect to anothr network and instantly connect to jmail and reply to the Email. you've got the time that you've got left from the trace countdown to disconect and reply. *SPOILER* The code of the firewall is 123456789ABC.
