Nortron Mainframe mission bugged

I managed to hack into the Nortron Mainframe as requested but the mission doesnt complete. It shows as "Mission Incomplete" when i try to reply to the mail. I have no idea what i am supposed to do. I even tried crashing the system but it came back up even without its system files

Now i even restarted the game (and even managed to block Naik's attack) but i got stuck at exactly the same point....

I'm having the same issue. I hacked in, gained admin access and replied to the email. Mission incomplete.

I attempted to access again, had to hack it again, succeeded and deleted the contents /sys/, replied to the email. Still mission incomplete.

Tried to hack in a third time(why is it not saving my admin status?), got admin, forkbombed, replied to email. Mission Incomplete.

In the mission he says that he doesn't care what you do, just had to gain admin rights. But either it's bugged, or something is pretty unclear.

As an aside, I've noticed on a couple servers I've tried to hack since then, that it isn't saving my admin access rights. I'm not sure if that is a symptom of local admins resetting, or a bug that is preventing the game from saving admin rights on servers, which would explain the mission incomplete...

I did. I had admin access on all those machines. I ended up restarting my game and going through the whole process again - and it worked the second time!

Hopefully I don't run into another one of these issues, I don't want to make starting over a common solution for a released game. :)

for me the second time around i had the same issue. im gonna wait a bit and hope for a patch to fix stuff like this before i come back - i love the game so far but this kind of bugs sucks...

i got past the point.

All i did was send the reply.. get the "mission incomplete"
then redo the hack but dont clear logs. instead right after you hack it, just type dc into the console. reply to the email, then go and delete logs.

Worked for me ;)

I can tell you guys why. The Node wont get you a concistent Admin access and you're gonna lose it after around 4 seconds once you disconnected the Node. So what you want to do is this: Connect, Hack, Delete Logs, Disconnect, -->IMMIDIEATLY<-- connect the gmail server and kick a reply to Naix. Is it dumb? Yes. But you just gotta deal with it.
