Substitute ur x-sys files for 20% cooler files in /sys/

Look at the logs to find the IP of the hacker. Connect, probe, hack as required. cd to the sys folder, scp the x-sys file, reboot.

Had to figure it all out myself in a few tense minutes XD

The trick to restoring your UI is to download the x-server.sys file.

However, in a 'screw you too buddy" I deleted the x-server.sys file from Naix's proxy. which ment that I couldn't repair my own UI anymore...

I could not revert to a saved session before this so I was pretty much screwed.

I fixed this by executing the scan command, hacking into the old Phoenix server and taking their x-server.sys file. Now everything is green and re-arranged. I think the game assumed that I would take Naix's sys file, but I actually have the Phoenix server's sys file.

You can always write down the ip of a generic server you already have admin on then just
connect <ip>
cd sys
scp x-server.sys

then disconnect and reboot

Okay, so I got the file back, now the game thinks I restarted by taking me back to the welcome email from the hacking group.

My x-server.sys wasn't deleted at all... I used one of the shells I had open and triggered a trap.

Can someone show me how to do that? Because I was a ♥♥♥♥ and deleted that characters x-sys as revenge and I'm wondering if I reupload it if I can put it back and get his sub-missions?

I would like to thank Dengler Interactive for their x-server file. XD

Solution if you deleted his x-server.sys file (gives green UI):
scan
connnect (ip that isn't yours, but detected node)
cd sys
scp x-server.sys
reboot

when i do scp x-server.sys it says file not found, even when i do scp sys/x-server.sys
ColbyJack Sep 25, 2016 @ 2:17pm
