Just a simple question, has anyone in this game hacked into the CCC Hacksquad filedump?

Ok, so currently 3 people (or supposedly 3 people) broke into the CCC Hacksquad filedump... great...

Sorry to burst your bubble but there's way more, the password for it has been floating around for awhile.

At least the first password they use have.

Still plenty of people, you could just search the forums, there are tons of posts about it. Guides on how to do it even.

*EASIEST WAY to beat it: Just keep hacking the server even if you enter the emergency recovery mode. Each command will reset the warning message and you will be able to finish hacking.
* If you want to download the files in this server, you can do it while emergency recovery mode. You'll need to type commands really quickly though.....

I managed it once last year or so, the timing to get each thing open was not simple, but if you dc and reconnect to get each thing running quickly enough you can force t he ports open to enter

I can force the ports open but it's not enough time to porthack.

easiest way i found is to use securitytracer.exe (bit tells you to delete it) but if you rename it you can use it to make trace counter a lot slower

no the true best way is is to do what i did and reboot in a panic during failsafe somehow that counted as mission complete aswell

Obviously. The mission requires you to check out the server, not actually hack into it. Connect, disconnect without doing anything and that's the mission done. The others are correct, security tracer is the best way to actually hack into CCC.

To get it you can replace the code and change the name of another exe, a copy of sshcrack for example:
-scp SSHcrack.exe /bin

Or you can finish the game, since you get it back at the end.
