How is this game copared to the Hacker Evolution series?

Many of the reviews compare this game to Uplink but I have yet to find one that compares it to (one of the games from) the Hacker Evolution series.

I'm asking because I've played both Uplink and Hacker Evolution: Untold and while I immensly enjoyed the former I can't say the same for the latter.

I tried to get into HE:U but after playing roughly an hour of it I just didn't enjoy it enough to continue playing it.

I'm not really sure myself why thats the case but I guess the main improvement that Uplink had over HE:U was simplicity, both in UI and story.

So yeah, I'd appreciate to hear any opinions/comparisons about this game from people who have played both Uplink and a Hacker Evolution title (preferably HE:U), thanks :)

The reason you might not find anyone comparing it to hacker evolution might be because hacker evolution actually sucks

I liked the first two Hacker Evolution games... Duality was complete garbage, though. But Hacknet is firmly between HE and Uplink in terms of fun. It's still kind of buggy, though.
