Problem - Game overheating Macbook CPU. Fan speed maxed out.

Love the game. Anyone else having a similar issue? Problem is strange overheating on my MacBook Air making me unwilling to risk frying my CPU. Seems to be graphics related.

WHAT THE BUG IS
When running, the game drives up the CPU temp to 90 celsius, twice idle temp. Fan speed goes to max of 6200rpm, making this normally silent laptop very loud. Curious; per Activity Monitor, Hacknet app is using only 50-60% cpu (where 200% or 400% is the actual maximum).

HOW TO TRIGGER IT
Launching game. Have turned off all graphics and sound options in-game. Also added the "-disableweb" game launch option. LOWERING THE RESOLUTION HELPS MITIGATE the above numbers, but not much, and at the expense of making this beautiful game a lot less immersive.

CAN YOU REPRODUCE IT REGULARLY
100% of the time so far.

OPERATING SYSTEM
Mac OS X 10.11.2

SYSTEM SPECS
2012 MacBook Air
1.8GHz Dual core CPU (4 virt. cores w Hyperthreading)
8GB RAM
480GB Transcend JetDrive aftermarket flash storage, though this has a temp sensor which is not significantly affected during gameplay. Only the CPU temp.

Maybe an issue with the integrated graphics chip?

Same here, i have a 2015 MacBook pro 13" and the game speed my fan speed to max and the top keyboard get very very hot!

There is some way to avoid this?

It's not the fault of the game lol. Don't play on a Mac.

htop shows that hacknet.osx.bin occupy CPU around 70~80%
