Deleted my x-server.sys File (NEED HELP)
So i just got accepted into CSEC and went to one of there servers and download a theme called Mint_x-server.sys (or something) i immediately went to my own pc and removed my x-server.sys files because i thought after then rebooting i would get a new theme, but instead im stuck now in the screen after rebooting and i can't seem to get back to the normal GUI, i tried scan and found an IP of MOTT Technologies (which was the one NAIX used to hack me with) so i removed that x-server.sys file from that pc too, and now i don't have a way of getiing an x-server file and getting back in to the game can anyone help me with this???????

The ONLY ip showing is the one from NAIX which he used to hack with, its NOT showing any other IP's!!

Then connect to Naix. Why not? He, like all other computers in the game, has an x-server you can steal. Connect to the bastard, run 'probe', hack him like usual, run 'cd /sys', run 'scp x-server.sys', run 'reboot'. It's not hard.

EDIT: so Steam censors the term for 'an illegitimate child', hm? Interesting but strange.

Counterhacking Naix works as well. What matters is that the players get AN IP. What IP they get really doesn't change much.

Yeah, Proxy 4 is. He hacks you through proxy 22, which isn't.

This is what i get when i do scan

Note: the other IP (Mott Technologies) i removed that x-server.sys file because NAIX used that one to hack me with so i thought i would take revenge by deleting everything of that IP (because i didn't thought i would be using that IP in the future) so i can't copy x-server file from that IP!

just switch to the theme you downloaded:

mv [name of x-server theme you downloaded] x-server.sys

reboot -i

------------

this will only work if you didn't specify a directory other than /sys/ when you downloaded. It should be in your system folder by default. If it in a different directory, just move it out. If you need help with the move (mv) command, then feel free to ask here again! :)
