Ferris is correct, you can only add details to missions when completing them. That's the extend of your interaction with the crew.

Funny, I've been having the same urge to post random stuff to the channel whilst working on these servers. It's been great stuff. The memory forensics tools are -brilliant-. If there's another mission set DLC to come, I'd love to see more puzzles based around that kind of work.

a easy google search can help you if you wanted.

But here it is:

SSLTROJAN (Port that you attack) -(the letter of a port you already have) (the number of the port you already have)

If it does no work well check if you have the right port number & letter of port

if you wanted to crack ssl port 229 with ftpserver 21 then it would be this
SSLTrojan 229 -f 21
just make sure that your tunnel port (in this case would be ftpserver) is already cracked and that you are using -f

Hah, so I hate bumping an old thread, but for funzies I found a way to "post" on the chat. Basically you hack the server, go to HomeBase/active.log and use the append command to add your own message! Be sure to match the syntax of the timestamp, etc., then return to the chat UI and voila! Your chat post is there! Sadly the game doesn’t reply to any such messages. It’s just for looks! 😉

wow, what are the odds, was thinking of picking this up on the sale. The had a lot of talk about some multiplayer aspect in this title? I suppose all of that is a thing of the past though eh?

You can (kinda) post in the chat, but you need to hack into the Bibliotheque@69.58.186.114 node first, then input the following commands:

69.58.186.114/HomeBase/> cat active.log

69.58.186.114/HomeBase/> append "#[TIME]//[USERNAME]//[MESSAGE]"

But of course you sub in your chosen values for [TIME], [USERNAME] and [MESSAGE] before the second cmd line.
