there is a good chance dlc will do something with it, or maybe it's just filler, like most of the logs.
perhaps it will be used to test mods when those come around.

also back then(from what i could find) is that the commands weren't as snappy as they are now and as such the ability to rofflestomp was both hard to do and hard to counter

Though to be honest, after playing I would have been happy paying for the game regardless. It is really good at what it does.
