Game Error

Okay so I played this game for a few hours and everything was fine. While playing the game my electricity went out and when I went to play the game after it came back all I get is a black screen. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game multiple times I've even uninstalled steam completely several times and I still only get a black screen when I start.

Has this happened to anyone else? It's so frustrating cause I was so absorbed in the story and I wanna see what happens next.

If anyone has any suggestions I would really appreciate it. I really wanna finish this game.

I think I know why. Your game accidentally "save" the error and because it's being backed up with the steam cloud, even if you delete it the "corrupted save data" will return whenever you try to play.

Please try to do this:
1. Right click the how to take off your mask title from the left bar, and choose properties> update tab >Uncheck the Steam cloud option (the most bottom one)
2.Go to My Document > find the save folder (should be Mask/saves/) and delete this files> How To Take Off Your Mask_sys.lns (the corrupted save data) *remember, if you delete this file, all CGs you've unlocked might be locked again, but this is the only solution to fix.
3.Try to start the game from steam.

You can enable the steam cloud again later if you want since I believe they should save the newest _sys file? But maybe keeping it off until you finished playing would be better for just in case.
