What a newbie, ahaha,

Go to library -> right click on the game -> Properties -> Set launch options -> Then write " -steam -console " Then u have the console, I suggest u to bind a key, but too lazy to say how.

Seeing how it's been two days, I'll just answer this real quick. Go to the menu and go to settings, under Controls go to Advanced and check the box labeled as "Enable Developer Console". After that, in the game, you can hit the Tilda key (~)(The one below the escape key) and enter commands. To start using cheatas, you'll have to start by entering Sv_cheats 1. This should be the method for cheating in any source game

Question for anybody here, do any of you know how to spawn the Gravity Concussion gun? Can't seem to figure it out and would help massively with my tinkering.

There's a cheating and funny gameplay without "sv_cheats 1". Type this in console.

player_throwforce 50000

Now your hands are gravity gun and you can destroy first evemy, a flying "City Scanner" with crates. Please note that turning on cheat will prevent you from getting achievements, but above command won't affect your achievements.

Does it work with "impulse 101"? The standard all guns cheat of HL2...

Why would anyone possibly need cheats for a game this short and easy? Dont get me wrong, I love the game. Its been very well done but its not like you need a ton of thought to finish it lol! Cheats??? What the heck? lol!

Or you can simply do this: Settings -> Keyboard/Mouse -> Advance Settings -> Enable developer console (On) -> find the Developer Console option in the keyboard/mouse section and sign a key to it. There we go. Have fun.
