just played new update yesterday
it was fantastic:)
only thing i didn't like was the loading circles it spoiled the driving experience?
could you guys reduce the amount of loading circles
ie when go inside a house instead of driving halfway down the road???
game ran fine without the loading circles in early state of Kona
also why are the ghost people solid white figures the blue transparent figures were better and i liked how all 4 ghosts where different colours now they all generic white figures
will the transparent colurful detailed figures make a return in full release???
i hope so as it would suit the new lighting you guys added?
treasure hunt problem=i found the last box 1st lol is there a way to hide the other boxes so can actually use the treasure map and not find the last box before the 1st one even before finding the 1st map??
the abillity to at least flush all the toilets would be good as carl drinks lots of water
the outhouse toilets=would be good if could not see snow hole under them when look inside the toilet?
houses=would look better if you closed off the square hole above fire places
small ice camera problem=it say take out camera=take a photo it say throw away photo
no option to keep photos of small ice clumps???
other than those i had alot of fun playing Kona
ps i really like the new journal looks heaps better than the old one
possible journal bug=when turning pages to the biography section it looks like theres about 5 pages stuck together it flips through fast and loks like i see 5 pages of hidden charecters then it lands on 1st biography page???

just some friendly feedback/nitpicking that i think would make Kona look better and feel better to play:)
Though I agree with you on the loading screens you quite seem to be obsessed with bathrooms as per your other posts. Is this not a bit infantile?
It doesn't add in my opinion any value/athmospere and would take ressourceds/developers time from adding something useful and/or fixing bugs....
it doesnt have to be animated and player doesnt have to use toilets
just an ambient action to add to atmosphere
anyways toilet sound added or not no toilet sound added still a nice game
hope they fix up the ghost characters they had way better textures than they do now
there were some nice things removed from the game that were better than they are now
i wonder whats inside the mysterious unmarked cans:)

realy good game i bougjt it on 1st day of early access so i have seen alot of changes some good some not so good
it been a long wait
cant wait to play full game soon:)

as for a simple toilet flush sound
who knows maybe could go to inspect a toilet and carl couls simply say the pipes are frozen
im quite surprized the taps still work?
only suggested toilet sound as i make maps for viscera cleanup detail
everyone complained that cant flush toilets so i added it myself
everyone likes it and it didnt take long to add either

petrol or gas cans i have 4 of them
gas bowser only let me fill up 1 gas can
what should we do with the 3 empty cans?
cool if could fill em up and put with dynamite when we get to use that or even use spare fuel to burn maybe that big tree on the road since the chainsaw not work
Loading circles: On some computers, many players experienced huge framerate stutters when driving between houses. We came up with this quick fix so that more people would be able to play. However, we are working on bringing an option to disable them if you have a powerful enough computer. More on that later.
People stuck in ice: We changed the ice a little because depending on the graphics settings, the ice could look different from one computer to another before. Also, we wanted the ice to have a more human-like form.
Colored ghosts in visions: Design-wise, we feel it makes more sense to make them all a bit red in a dark environment. It makes them look less "cartoony" and we feel like it changes the atmosphere of the visions this way. We know that we won't have 100% people who will like them like this though :P
Treasure hunt: For gameplay purposes, it would make sense, but in the story, Martin makes the treasure hunt for his friend, so he made a specific path for her. It would break a bit of the immersion if we were to change the order randomly.
Toilets: He does indeed drink a lot :P However, we don't feel it is really important in the experience if he could do that. I'm not saying we won't do stuff like that eventually (in an update for instance), but for now, we have other priorities to work on (like bugs, optimizations, etc).
Photos: As of now, players can only keep photos that are important to the investigation. However, we plan to bring back a photo section eventually, probably in an update.
Journal: When you turn pages to the biography section, the pages you see turning are either pages that haven't been unlocked yet or because you skip a section to reach the biographies.
Gas cans: Since Kona is an open-world game, we had to make sure that players wouldn't miss important items, even if they are not necessarily important to completing the game. In the case of the gas can, you can only fill one up at a time because you will only need it once. Having more would be useless and would add weight to your inventory.

Square holes above fire places: This is how those cabins were made, actually. Since everything is made of wood, the whole place would probably burn if the holes were not there :P
i see those stove pipes are retractable or removable
clever idea esp since i only just noticed the little hatch doors lol:)
