Cannot fill gas can after reloading a previous checkpoint save ?

So i've being enjoying this game, besides the bug where if you reload a previous save, items you've left anywhere on the ground will reset back to their original positions.

The gas can for the snowmobile, i had if filled and left beside the snowmobile. Anyways i fixed the snowmobile up and continued on with the game (night time at this point), but a bit later i realized i missed some stuff and reloaded back a half hour to just before finish up fixing the snowmobile. But the gas can had reset back to its original position, so i drive to the shed and grab it again. But when i get back to the snowmobile and gas pump next to it wont let me fill the empty gas can ?? there is no prompt or option to fill the gas can at all ?, has the game just completely glitched out on me, or is there still a way to get the snow mobile working still ?

You can try refilling it from the oil pump in the General Store.

Nope =( I just noticed that the headlight is removed from the snowmobile (even after its already being all fixed up (the headlight also reset back to its original porision on the UFO in the shed), i've read about this glitch.. so im sh*t outa luck unless i want ot scrape 2 + hours of gameplay and restart.

Nope, i tried dropping a bunch of stuff to make sure it wasnt a space issue. I think the snowmobile is just glitched out, because its fully put back together, but the front light isnt in place (it must have also reset when i reloaded to an earlier save)

It'd be real handy if you could save the game manually at any point (i understand this just might not be possible) but i tried to save the game manually a bunch of times before i loaded to an earlier save just incase something went wrong, but each time i went into the menu to save, the option was grayed out for a long ass time as i continued along.

Hmm, that's weird. I'll submit this issue to my team, it should be fixed in the next update (date to be confirmed). In the meantime, I know it sucks, but the game can be completed without the snowmobile.

Its all good though, i restarted and ended up playing through it 2 more times, just finished the 2nd. I gotta thing for snowy games.

I know this is PC forum, but on the PS4Pro, with "Boost mode" enabled the game felt very choppy, it would be sweet to get some extra AA in there.

Future patches will have more optimizations, so it should allow us to make the game look a little better. Can't say when though :P

There are other gas cans around the map. Search near the car crash close to the ice wall.

Hey i'm still getting this issue... can't fill up the gas can at the general store's pump.
Also the second gas can near the ice wall is visually there but i can't interact with it.
