Crash after Icy Cave

After doing what is necessary to leave the icy cave (no spoiler here!) and I go down the ladder, the game freezes. This has happened twice. I only have one saved game so I don't want to start over. Any other ideas?

Sorry for this issue, we will look into it. In the meantime, as soon as the ladder is placed in the correct location, you can jump down instead of using the ladder. This way, you will avoid the issue. Hope it helps :)

For others who come here:
I thought I was "frozen", too.
Have you tried pressing 'S' to start climbing down the ladder? That helped me. Same thing when you climb upwards. The 'Use' command only makes Carl cling to the ladder.
