Caribou?

So I keep seeing the Caribou footprints through the camera and I got to the Icy Cavern. The footprints lead into the cavern but it's too cold to go in. I know you can get the coat by giving the caribou to Old Rosaire but how am I supposed to get the Caribou?

Same question, but I just got to the Old Rosaire and I wish to know, where do I even start looking for it?

Try investigating houses past the Old Rosaire's one.

As PizzaLoverBoy said, you have to make it yourself. You will find all necessary equipment in the Patriot's house. Also keep in mind that you'll need an item to store the final product.

I know where the equipment is I just can't find the Caribou itself.

You have to produce it using this equipment. You'll need two ingredients to do so: bottle of wine from the General Store and an empty bottle. I hope this information will help you.

Hey! I've had the same problem, you need to go to the general store, then go to the ladder, and press E, then interact with It and get the wine, then find a normal bottle (Can be found In Rosaire's house), after that you need to travel to that wine making place, don't remember the name, just follow the road after you've been to Rosaire. Once you are there, you need to read one letter that should be on the wall, then go to the wine making macine and make the Caribou. Hope this helps!

Thanks guys, knew what I needed to do, just couldn't find the wine. That saved some back and forwarding.

I don't have the wine. I remember 100% that I took it at the beginning of the game and now I don't have it and it's not even in the storage in the truck. I must have dropped it once when I wanted to pick up something and had the inventory full. Had no idea it was this useful.....so.....unless I find it on the floor somewhere where I dropped it, is there any other place where I can find some wine ??

Well, Looking for whine that you dropped on the floor would take ages, you could always start a new game.

The sherry wine cannot be dropped, so it must be a bug. It happened to some players before, we're trying to figure out what is happening. Do you remember if you did something unusual after picking up the wine at the store (like dropping all items from one category on the floor or in the truck, for instance)?

i got the caribou!! but the old man in the chair does nothing..i got the caribou in my inventar...but nothing happens !

I was so wrong....sorry everybody. I assumed the bottle of wine was the item BEHIND the ladder in the store. I guess it was just an empty bottle or something like that, because the bottle of wine is on the RIGHT side of that wall, and you have to CLIMB the ladder (it's not behind it like the other item). I was completely confused.....and yeah the wine cannot be dropped and no, in my case it was just a bug in my brain....happens....
