After taking down the icewall, what do I do?

It's telling me to go back to the general store, and to the crime scene. However I can't find anything.

I am stuck in a similar situation as OP. I have spent a few hours searching the general store, and cannot for the life of me, find anything new in the store.

Have you checked the body again? Is there an interacting icon on him? Also, did you pick the 2 items in the mailbox?

I searched the mailbox way back when I got the key and found the gun and letter.
There is no interaction icon on the body and there hasn't been since covering him up.

I can't open mailbox because i don't have a key, i checked the body and there is no interaction points, i just covered it with blanket in a very beginning, that's all.

The key for the mailbox is in the cash register.

I am back at the doctor's house, but I cannot find anything that seems like would be the thing I was missing to keep me from going past the ice wall.
Is it possible that there is a glitch somehow?

I am missing three entries in the Hamilton's Murder as far as I can tell.
Unfortunately I am playing on PS, so I don't really have an easy way to share the screenshots although I have them. Steam is not very fond of linking.

1. The first one can be unlocked when you find the key in the mailbox, at the store. It usually triggers an animation that will open a locked iron box. If the animation didn't trigger, look in your consumables in the inventory if you still have the box. If you don't, try to go back to the crash site and it should be on the passenger seat of the car. If it's not there, this is a really unfortunate bug that we will fix soon, but it will prevent you from completing the game, at least for now (this bug happened to another player on PS4 that we know of).
   
2. The second one can be found at the Patriot's cottage (Réjean Blouin). You need to read a letter in the house.
   
3. This last one will be unlocked near the end of the game.

Hope it helps, let me know about the first one. If it really is a bug, we'll fix it as soon as possible.

Also, for number 1, if the iron box is not there, try to save your game in the cabin near the car crash site, close the game and then reload it. If the box is in your inventory or on the seat after doing that, please let me know, as it could be a temporary fix until we find a real one.

Unfortunately the lockbox was not in the car and the save, close, and load of the game didn't help either. I do seem to recall that the lockbox disappeared from my inventory at some point. I was playing it with a friend and we briefly talked about the box when we found a key (that I think was for the lockbox), but when we looked at the inventory the lockbox was gone. We figured it unlocked automatically but obviously that wasn't the case. Not sure if that information is of any use, but you never know.

There is a bug with some items disappearing from the inventory. For this one though, it is game-breaking because it prevents you from completing the game, at least until we send the next patch. For now, the best would be to either start a new game or to wait for the next update (we don't have a date yet for its release).

We are really sorry for this issue, we tested the game a lot and never encountered this bug before. We will work as fast as we can to fix this.

Bugs happen and sometimes in the weirdest way. No need to apologise for that, when you are actively working on fixing stuff.
