ENDING EXPLAINED [MAJOR SPOILER ALERT]
BEFORE YOU READ


This explains the whole... Kinda story, to Kona, and why all the mysterious things were happening.


If you are still working on the game, I highly recommend not reading this.

I already finished it.

So, the whole concept is. The creature is vengeance. Hamilton killed the unidentified girl in a hunting accident, and that girl just so happend to be the Doctor's lover. So the doctor went to hamilton and shot him dead because of it. The creature is basically justice, love, and vengeance. And in the end, carl escapes on a boat only to be discovered, and saved, by the Surete Du Quebec (or coast guard) That is the ending explained.

Yeah, I'd like to read a breakdown of how each of the characters relate to the creature, with all the details possible. But yeah, nice overview.

The girl isn't the Doctor's lover. He just transferred his grief for his dead wife onto her.

ehhhhhhhhh kinda wrong, the doctor did not know the girl at all (his wifes ashes are at his house) so she was dead prior to it. He just transfered his feelings to the girl and acted as if it was his wife. the mechanic burried her outback (you find the empty grave) and if you know the story behind the "wendigo" you would know that the GIRL who dies is actually the wendigo. Look up the story behind "the wendigo" and it will make sense to you

And the Hunter of the Wendigo? After the End Credits, the motor boat with the two men: "Look! We found someone alive!" Anyone?

Thats probably either the Coast Guard or Surete Du Quebec

Yes, or the local Constabulary ... I am thinking that it is possibly a foreshadowing of the next story. The Wendigo Hunter, the Wendigo, and the Doctor, are still around, ... somewhere.

No, it's clearly stated in the game that the Wendigo is the Girls lover from the Cree tribe. Quite hard to miss that the Wendigo is male in the game as well ;)
