Out of film

I used the camera too much and i am out of film just after the general store.
There were several points where the game wants me to use the camera (fe at the doctors house and other places) but i cant because im out of film.
This sucks and im feeling like i am missing important story parts now.
Do i get new films anywhere in the game or do i have to restart?
I think it is a stupid game design decision to limit the ammount of film when the camera is used to tell the player important story parts.

You find films in different locations hidden or not that hidden. You probably do not have to restart.

There is actually quite a bit of Polaroid pickups throughout the game.
