SFA Multiplayer
C'mon, I'm sure this was on everyone's minds at some point. When I had the original copy myself, I always wondered what it would be like if Online Multiplayer actually worked, but at the time, you couldn't relly get it to work or no one else was really playing it as much or at the same time as you were.

But with the steam version now...and that it's attracting a lot of attention again, maybe it's possible? Would be nice, wouldn't it?

Also, 2.1GB download? GBs never really existed back then, or at least yet, when this game was first released. So maybe there's more to it than just patches and fixes to make it work on our modern OSs. Other than that, childhood has been reborn. :)

I love this game :) - as for the 2.1gb - I had the retail boxed version when it was first released and it was 6 discs!!! - massive for the time!!

Multiplayer yes, graphics mods definitely. If the game is moddable. Not all games are sadly.

Multiplayer would be extremely fun! I used to play online all the time back on my '98 machine. (When this game was popular.)

As for the Graphics, I just tweaked my laptop's Graphics Settings using the Radeon settings, and the missions are a bit more beautiful. There's graphics glitching though, and the video still looks like crap. But at least the ships aren't blurred polygons anymore!
