Turning off hints.

Enjoying the game so far (just a dozen or so locations in), but I'm wondering - is there no way to turn off the purple flashing hints? Seems to defeat the challenge if the game just tells you which cards to play.

Those aren't hints. That's the game about to fire upon you unless the glowing card is uncovered.
