JW Quota needs a CAP off. Please :C

JW Quota needs a CAP off after so many days. It feels like more and more of a job than challenge. Any small mishaps or RNG of monsters (Which MONSTERS are fine because it is part of the game.) It feels like now I'm getting to point of exit and resetting day over, and over, and over, because I cant make it. I'm like few pinches shorts every time. I'm on day 31 and my quota 2400. I don't think gamble pot is even worth it like 5 out of fish I catch 1 is only one big. So then it like wasting time to go run to gamble pot to even try chance of getting anything bigger. Or sit and fish and hope to catch big enough to cook. I really get challenge part don't get me wrong. I do find some of it fun. But man.. I would hate to know some folks past 31 days... how their quota is. THAT WITHOUT help of others, or exploits or whatever new tips and tricks. I know this game early access but that only thing I think either JW needs tweak on how much money goes up or a tweak of a cap off. I'm down to hit quota of whatever cap off is every day too. I'm putting this here because my husband even recently played and man he was not having a fun time with how gamble and quota system is now than what it was last year when he played. He was saying it wasn't fun now anymore. Gamble system felt wasteful too.

So hopefully doesn't come off mean <3 I do love you two making this amazing game. But I think you guys got re-think JW quota amount. I know its tied to outside website of leaderboard game folks enjoy going back forth with. But cap off or rework of how quickly it gets costly in JW needs be looked at. D: My other two homies won't even touch the game no more due to how high cap is.

That all sorry for long rant or complaint. I'm just suggesting this hope that comes as one. Because it making me feel almost bummed too. It like your forced to play with folks or hope RNG is just right pathing at this point after day 30 in JW.

The Jeremy Wade difficulty all but requires exploiting the content in order to succeed. The quota will, inevitably, increase to a point of being unsustainable without resorting to out-of-game measures or exploits. We play legitimately and want to continue to do so, but Jeremy Wade difficulty feels more "chore" than "challenge".

Previously we'd be able to use the gamble mechanic to get an increase fish size around, I'd say, 30% of the time. However, now I'd be lucky to see a positive result from the gamble mechanic ever. I don't know if the gambling chances have been modified, but it sure feels like it was made worse than a few months ago.

really appreciate the feedback from both of yall. its feedback like this that truly helps the game get better. I will have my brother read yalls feedback aswell and well figure out a gameplan to make JW a more enjoyable experience

Reduced the base quota for JW by 20% on Arctic Jungle and Canyon
Reduced the base quota for JW by 10% on the Lake and Swamp
Reduced quota growth rate by 20% for all maps

also as a reminder, quota growth stops at day 40. In other words, on day 41, day 42, etc... the quota will grow by the same rate rather than accelerating

Does quota growth stop on all difficulties at say 40? Im on average with a friend and quota is still growing and we're on like day 47
