This game has been in development for about twenty years, give or take. The dev isn't going anywhere as this is clearly a passion project. But, a man has to eat and niche games don't exactly put food on the table.

As an aside, the differences between the version I played in the 2000s and the version available on Steam today are like night and day. Transcendence has come a long way and the dev is to be commended for sticking with it for so long.
