radiation immunity

if my ship has 4 armour slots, how many of those pieces needs to have the radiation immunity tag? also if an auton has radiation immunity armour, they won't turn green from radiation, and thus when i do dock them, they won't spread non-existant radiation despite spending time in a radiation field? this is just theoretical atm

All your armor slots need to be radiation immune to make your ship immune to radiation.
Yes, if your auton is rad-immune it can't get contaminated so won't pass on contamination.

As an additional note. A radiated Auton will give you radiation even when all your armor is radiation immune.
