Offline, cant use my save?

So why can I not play my saved game offline? It makes no sense to me. How do I circumvent this?

Sorry about this. The problem is that registered games need an internet connection to verify the username (otherwise, someone else could trash your game) and to post high scores.

You can manually convert to an unregistered game as follows:

1. Open up a command prompt to the Transcendence directory. Usually at program files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Transcendence

2. dir Games to see a list of your saved files; figure out which one is the one you want (usually the latest one).

3. Make a backup of that file just in case (if you don't do this, I won't be able to help in case of error).

4. Type:

transdata /clearRegistered /gameFile:Games\{save-filename}

5. Launch Transcendence and the game should be there.

In the future I will add user interface to make this easier.

Thanks, I cant seem to get 4 to work though. Ill just start a new game with a mod or something. I assume that will work.

You can also start a game without being signed in.
