The Elder Scrolls: Legends servers will permanently shut down on January 30, 2025. From now until January 30, 2025, all items in the store and entry into in-game events will be available for 1 gold each, so you can enjoy all the content Legends has to offer. On that date, servers will be shut down and the game will be inaccessible. Thank you for playing and we hope you enjoyed your time in Legends.

Actually tragic. The one silver lining is that all stories will be available for those that never got the opportunity to buy them, but I'm gutted that it's not being updated to support offline play.

I like the single-player content. I was missing the cat puzzles, so that is what I am doing.

Only 2 left though.

A big shame that THE ELDER SCROLLS : LEGENDS is being discontinued as I quite liked the game.

Yet another free game on the STEAM system bites the dust. The same thing happened to several others over the past couple of years - all of which seemed to be card based, ironically - including one of my favourites, WARHAMMER CHAMPIONS : UNLEASHED.

I never spent a penny of really money on them, but miss playing each of these games and remember what great fun they all were.

Microshaft screwed blizzard a while ago also, laid off a bunch of people at activision-blizzard also....

why is Microsoft buying gaming studios up, are they looking to become an unfair monopoly like they already are at operating systems? if they cant manage to make a decent operating system what the hell would they know about games?

RIP to my most played game. (~1000 hours)

It was an inevitable end. The fact that it had not been updated for years was an indication of this. It's even surprising that the servers stayed up for so long.

It was the first time I liked a card game, and it's being shut down because it's not played by the majority. It's sad to see this because it was a part of my life. Still, thanks to all the players (except the AFK ones) and everyone who contributed for the exciting moments it gave me.

FragApSpleenRenderer says this decision is #$&!. Matches are still easy to find and fun to play. How much will this decision save the company? Honestly, I have no idea, but is it really that much? All the development has been done; now it's basically just a power bill to keep the server on. You could've asked the playing community to see if they'd be willing to pay a buck or 5 now and then to keep it going, if it really is that much of a drain.
Well, so long and thanks for the fun. It truly was a great card game-much better than Magik and all the others.

fk. thanks for posting the message. I wanted to check how much The Elder Scrolls Online costs but I accidentally wrote The Elder Scrolls legends and saw on the Steam store page that the game is no longer available in the store.

I uninstalled the game on Steam and mobile and would have to try to download it again on mobile to see what happened.

I immediately opened the forum and saw many threads but I didn't know what happened. I have played about 600-700 hours on Steam and I don't know how many hours I have played on mobile as well.
