Today I lost to _____. Please nerf it.
Thanks in advance,
Some Entitled Person
The balance is fine. It's part of a what... 3 or 4 card combo? That's not an easy thing to pull off every game. The combo should probably see a(nother) nerf of some kind, but not because of it's power level. Direwolf tended to nerf cards and combos that just felt awful to play against (no interaction, not power level), so hopfully Sparky does the same... if they ever hire a card designer to work on balance.

He was able to almost always use the combo!
Hear me out.
Either you don't get the composite pieces and your opponent wrecks you, or you do and you wreck them. It's won or lost by the whim of card draw, which is either quite fair (in the sense that card draw is arbitrary, unbiased, and just does what it does and you get what you get) or incredibly unfair, since neither player's skill really matters--either ya draw the nuts or ya don't.
I'd tend to support the notion that it's 'fair', but also quite asinine and not at all fun to play against--and if someone is entertained by playing it more than once, I suspect they were dropped on their head as a child.
Also, pro tip, never admit that you played Yugioh. You might as well say "My waifu body pillow told me she hates this card too."
I did face it and they stalled enough..game was turn 12 around got me down to 2..(one or two cards in hand none combo). Then I played Alduin and won.
Yeah, I know how the combo works. Just because Justin Larson cherry picked the times it went off doesn't mean it goes off all the time; he's trying to create an entertaining video after all, and people don't want to see him make a deck and it just lose 3 or 4 times.
This is why it should be changed, not because it's "unbalanced" (it is balanced, it's just an OTK deck). It's not fun to play against. It's non-interactive too. This is why DW nerfed Ramp Scout, nerfed the old Time to Fight decks, the Blackfall Control Tribunal, etc. They didn't want non-interactive and/or terribly unfun decks to be matched against. Same reason why DV finally got a nerf; it was a staple in many unfun decks like Masturbation Scout and Nix Ox.
So now you're talking about a whole nother combo? That still takes 2 certain cards to pull off plus at least a half full board? Are you just complaining about OTK combos being "unfair" because... you lost to them? Congratulations, you lost to a win con that isn't competitive and are complaining about it.
