Eternal is basically Magic the Gathering, but takes one step toward Hearthstone (particularly in the art style), and plays better on mobile, IMO.
This game, on the other hand, starts at the Hearthstone end of the pool, and takes one step toward Magic. Looks and feels much better on PC.
So, if you aren't a fan of Hearthstone's style of play, Eternal might be more the right game for you--but this one does *significantly* improve upon that model, so I'd at least give this a whirl if I were you, and see if their spin on it appeals to you more (sometimes it almost feels deliberately targeted at people who used to like Hearthstone, but were inevitably turned off by its substantial flaws).
ESL has better companies and introduces a number of improvements to the standard Magic mechanics which were pointlessly cloned by Eternal.
Don't look at Steam reviews, they are a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke.
semi disagree. if review comes from someone with alot of hours. look at it, but if someone has .5 hours it's a joke.
Having said that Legends is a fine game and there's a lot of fun to be had in it. It is also inexpensive to free and the people who scream P2W don't seem to understand that spending money doesn't make you any better at the game it just fills out your collection faster.
So someone that tries to win via their wallet is going to grow their collection faster than they increase their skill and is going to have a similar win rate to someone who spent nothing.
I'm not currently playing Legends as something about it's current release causes me eye strain headaches but I plan on coming back in some months.
Yeah, but people can change a review at any time... which is fine except if there is one change suddenly everyone changes it to negative (including people with hundreds, if not thousands, of hours) and then never plays again to possibly change it back.
Steam reviews are complete ♥♥♥♥.
