Lance Not So Bad

Hey guys, I saw in the review and the forum that a lot of players said that the lance was really bad if not unplayable. As someone who really like lances and challenges, I decided to make myself a challenge: kill the Urogorak ( canyon boss) in my first run with the centurion :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABXY03IUtvs Don't misundersand, it is true that lances are weaker then sword at the moment but I still love the way they are and i think it's a bit more challenging. Dang man. I enjoy lances but couldn't ever do that. Got any crafting recipes for a better lance than default though?

For the moment best lance would be the RuneLance (Planet emblem,Eyeball emblem and Flutterfly emblem) it's like the default one but in addition it shoots a projectile like the magic gauntlet. The other Lance don't really work at the moment sadly. The Highwind ( tier 2 Lance) doesn't have any special effect and the cain's lance is not yet implemented so it's just a default lance with different stats, we will have to wait for the next build. Also I bet you could do that to with some practice ;P

If you didn't know, you can actually rocket yourself across the screen by pressing attack and Q or E at the same time

Lesson of the day Those little bugs are the real things we should be scared of the boss is nothing :)

Yeah I got scared when i saw i only had 1 hp left for the boss xD and yeah, lot of people say that the game is too hard but personally I find it, like the boss should fire bullets around him or something. and what little bugs are you refering too? precisely?

Edit: Never mind.
Stab vs Slash. The hitboxes for each attacking animation give for different stratesies. People who don't like the lance simply can't play with its range.

The sword is still better. But if the lance gets like a range boost it will get usable. The idea of the lance is still fun

the lance is really usable xD you just have to give it a little try, if it's wasn't usable i couldn't have beaten the boss with a lance on first run xD

I personally cant use the lance but it dose have a diffrent play style with it like all weapons. I just cant seem to sue it because whenever you attack you take damage while charging them.
