Yep. I Try use Machine with ~1500 damage per shot (3 shot with ~600, 450 and 450 dmg), but even first level boss on arena easy kill me by his spawns. With Forsaker mask caster, lvl 1 boss die after 10 sec :) 10 Quadrocopters on each side and beam-beam-beam :)
P.S. For unlocking Forsaker mask u must reach level 100 in Ironman mode.
Look like you were right so the war forged gun is the best canon weapons.
edit: i guess the same can be said for any staff that utilizes a stat/2 since it seems like most fth stats in ultimate staves are scaled by /4
Well i have 30/30 crit damage xD
I wish there was a way to remove mods
Yeah I have a fully leveled legendary ragnarok for my Helswath. I'm still deciding on the mods I want to use though, definitely +30 Vit/Str, but no clue for my last one.
Just did this. Crits don't work on it or air splitter. Caster sword is a ♥♥♥♥ version of flameswathe because of this. It is ok if you want to play a healing character and use faith based chips.
But the best staff by far I have found is sage's staff. It does faith/4 + vit. Straight vit, no division. Which after the hp nerf, you almost have to do a vit build. But what makes it so amazing is the projectile speed. On a normal staff, you can hit an enemy twice, maybe four times if you are clever, and you need to be right on top of them for that, and over a decent period of time. WIth the sage staff you always get the four times from the other side of the map very quickly, often being able to go on to the next enemy. But not only that but because of the increased projectile speed you don't have to be clever with it, you just shoot and hold on the target and each shot hits more often than with slower staves. Most enemies die from just one shot, and once you get up to three even bosses just die off. Stuff just melts.
The one downside is that it uses mana. You can still fire with 0 mana, but you will stay that way unless you stop to drink a potion... so no combat chips. On the other hand, if there's still anything left in the time it would take you to drink a potion and use the combat chip, you are doing it wrong.
