Wood Elf. Confederate or Conquor?

Just really quick. Should I confederate or Conquor as Orion. I tried to read the lore on the various Wiki's and found I couldn't really give any blanks about it. So could somebody just tell me WWOD (What would Orion do?)

Confederate, saves you a lot of time and money and you also get some quite high level lords. Especially confederate Durthu because he by himself is just insane in battle.

Yeah but Orion seems to think they are Betrayers and Orion don't seem to be the guy that would let that slide (Ariel probley would). I know what would make the most sense for the player. Looking for the Roleplay and the reasons it would be the best path.

I also need to know if Orion would make peace with the Bretonnian states or wipe them out...Roleplay wise.

For the roleplay, Orion would do anything to save Athel Loren. A chance like having Durthu joining him is one he can't let go.

Hmm. Maybee Ill confederate with Argwyllion and then Just conqour the other two. I really didn't have anything against the Tree people. They don't harras me for Non Aggression Pacts like the other two do.

Do whatever you want to do, but believe me, if you can confederate, do it. It's definately better then conquering.

When I did my Welfs grand campaign, I just conquered Torgovann and Wydrioth (I was playing as Argwylon.) The extra income from grape vines, supplemented with the income boosts from the Vinter's Barrel Houses and a few Brettonnian ports made my income skyrocket. Eventually, after conquering all of Brettonia and with max upgrades to infrastructure, I was able to support 4 armies of elite troops like Wildwood Rangers. I honestly think that the economy boost early game is worth more than the time or money confederation saves you. To deal with the Treemen in the early garrisons, just spam Starfire Shafts.
