Cheat Engine + Multiplayer campaign

A friend and I would like to have unlimited resources while playing with/against eachother in a multiplayer campaign. We are worried that using Cheat Engine might get us banned thou, any input considering this is appreciated.

you wont get banned mate, but you game will fall out of sync and wont work.

Just get the mod that allows playing as the same faction with unique LL starting locations and then get the relevant cheat mod for higher taxation, replenishment, etc.

I'm a little late to the party, but yes you can use cheat engine in multiplayer. The game will desynch if you change your own gold, but if youre friends runs cheat engine too and searches for youre gold as well, and you both change it to exactly the same number it wont desycnh because both of you have the same number for your gold. it will only desynch when it tries to save and it sees that in his save game you have 6000 gold and on youre save it says you have 2000000 gold. the game doesnt understand that. sorry for my bad english
