One CPU Core always at 100%
Hello, ive noticted that my game stuttering, and i think i know why.

One of my 8 cores from my i7 6700k (4 cores+4 virtual cores via hyperthreating) is always at 100%, the other 7 are normal.

Do you noticed same?

Getting this on the same CPU, 8th core is always 100 and the rest rather low.

Same thing here i7 6700K @ 4800, Low usage on the 7 first core and 100% on the last one, core 4 , virtual 4.

I disable hyperthreading and its the same thing on core 4 100%

Btw that while sitting in campain map, I did not check battle usage

No wonder my temps were high , getting close to 78C on that core.

I wonder if i7 6600k is the same thing ... I suspest it is since i7 6700k hyperthreading disable is basically a i5 with more cache.

Someone have the same problem on other prev generation intel cpu ?

I'm also experiencing stuttering and I have got an 8 core processor - AMD FX 8350.

You can post your problem/observation in a proper thread, So far its a intel cpu problem , unless you confirm you got one core at 100 and the rest very low.

maybe i found a little fix, go into the task manager, go to process and search for the warhammer process, click affinity( dont know if its correct, im german), and disable the last core for warhammer, after this, enable the last core again. after this my cores work propperly

Gosh this works for me!

Well done, now CPU usage is normal and can achieve better CPU temperatures.

Wow -10degC on CPU, last core now behaves as normal!

hhow do you check what cores are working at?

ctrl+alt+del -> performance

You Sir deserve a medal!!!

Fixed performance issues for me. I think most of the guys having performance issues dont monitor their CPUs this is a bug from the game that has huge impact on performance.

Awesome work/fix! I have exactly the same problem with an intel 980x (6 core - 12 threads) where my 12th thread (6th core) was running constantly at 100%! Also have been having bad stutters.

Great, glad it worked for you guys to. For me i got the next Problem, the gpu memory of my GTX 980 is always at 100 percent to, causing another stutering....

I had this stuttering issue on the campaign map and cutscenes. I fixed it by unparking my cpu cores. I have a FX8350, same as you.

Another fix I found, so you don't have to disable a core or two all the time, was to reduce the amount of power transfered to the CPU.

This has helped my games greatly and also another guy in these forums.

Was originally due to The Division stuttering on my laptop that I found this fix. I hope it can work for stationaries as well (confirm?)
