Launcher Problem
I haven't played in a while and decided to get the latest WH updates. The launcher comes up but when I press 'Play' the launcher closes and then nothing else happens. No error or message or anything.

I have tried removing local files and redownloading. Any other suggestions?

Same problem here. I tried every method as suggested in the forum but still couldn't find a solution.

I have tried everything, too. If I can't find a solution soon I am going to get a refund.

I've found a solution myself.

Go to your firewall settings and check the application list. Remove all Total War: Warhammer entries from the list and click OK. Then launch the game. Firewall will prompt you to allow access to networks, choose whatever you like.

No guarantee that it will work for you. Try it first.

Thanks for the tip but I am not seeing a difference. Just to make sure that I am doing the same thing that you are talking about...assuming that you are on Win10, you go to Windows Firewall with Advanced Security. Scroll through the Inbound Rules and delete all of the TotalWar Warhammer rules that are listed?

If so, I did that and no difference. In fact, it didn't even prompt like to allow access like it normally does.

Yes, I'm on Win10. But I didn't remove the rules from Inbound Rules. I just accessed firewall from the control panel, clicked on the "Allow an app through Windows Firewall" option and removed Total War: Warhammer from the list.

If it still doesn't work for you, I suggest you search the forums for other troubleshooting methods because I've done almost every suggested methods I could find before doing this.

Sorry, I have been busy the past few days :(

I finally got around to your suggestion and I don't even see TW in my Allowed Apps and Features list. I guess I'll try to figure something else out.
