DLC not working?

I've had issues with Blood for the Blood God. After saving and reinstalling the game, I now cannot access ANY of the DLC (free or paid) and my save has been locked. I can't access the game anymore because for some reason the game is saying I am "offline" while playing online on Steam and that the save was created with DLC I "don't own" installed.
I just bought this game on the Steam Winter Sale and want to play it.
Advice/suggestions?

I had the same problem last year. I found a surprising solution by stumbling upon a response to a post from july 2017 in the "Troubleshooting/Support Forums" here on Steam. That response wasn't about DLCs access, but it works like a charm and swiftly:

'Clear download cache' is a global action on Steam, not specific to a game in particular, but it resolved my issue for Total War Warhammer. I don't know, maybe something was stuck in that download cache and the game couldn't sync my DLCs.

Didn't Work for me. My issue is that the game is not connecting to the internet. Even when I want to 'See downloadable content' it says I must be online.

Same here, played this game yesterday with no problems, today no DLC. This has happened before, but I dont remember the fix.

Deleted it, reinstalled it, still says I'm offline

Same problem, can't even access my save files. are all of these only accessible through the server or can I continue my own games offline? it claims I'm modded but i did grab any TW mods.

Nothing werks. Devs don't care apparently. They got your $$ already.

i played today with DLC took an hour break got back on a now no DLC says i need to be online now.

I am having the same issue with the need to be online. The game won't even bring up the manual.

Yep can't play my DLC either says i need to be online to play them just bought the game and all DLC from the steam winter sale play yesterday and can't play today
