Yes and no. During the End Times, he either becomes the vessel for Sigmar/ ascends to godhood/ is revealed to be Sigmar reincarnated and rides out the End of the World until he/Sigmar re-creates the universe.

As of AoS, he may be the Celestian Prime of the Stormcast Eternals but some think that might be Settra of the Tomb Kings.

So to answer your question, we don't know for sure.

Pfft. Karl Franz had litteraly died during the siege of Altdorf, only for Sigmar who had spent the last 2000 years imprisoned in the wind of heavens, and who was just recently released along with the wind by Teclis, to possess the dying body of the Emperor. And then he impersonated Karl Franz for some time judging that it is still yet not the time to reveal himself.
And after the old world was wrecked i doubt much had changed. Sigmar is still walking around in Karl Franz's body.

Everyone and everything are alive because Sigmar and other incarnates became gods and revived all dead souls to life again. Including thousands of yeras of dead elves eaten by Slaanesh, because Malekith with high elven twins gutted Slaanesh and took out everything it had inside.

If recall the one reason (or perhaps the only reason idk) the end times is cannon is cause GW thought it would cool to let community game results deicide how things would turn out. Neat Idea except, some people just submitted multple results for races they liked. So what could've been a much more fairer or decive outcome depending on how people played and won. It turned into a mess. For example compared to the end times Chaos just fell apart at the start and made practically no progress.

Then GW got the last laugh by doing the End Times storyline..
