How do I repair a building?
When I click End Turn it tells me that in a settlement that I have just occupied, there are damaged buildings that need repairing. How do I repair them?
I am brand new to this game and don't understand anything that's going on lmao.

go as if you were going to upgrade it (where the building tree shows) and it is at the bottom.

I also don't see it for the life of me. This game would be AMAZING if the interface wasn't a complete mess to understand..... Jumbled randomness fills the screen with this one....

I'm having this same issue right now hah. I see no option to repair on the building tree screen, even though when I mouse over any building, it says I must repair the first building in the tree first.

Maybe this is due to the fact that the raid downgraded my settlement from lvl 2 to 1. But there's no repair option for that, either. I can only upgrade the settlement back to lv 2, with the standard currency and growth costs already paid before.

I also queued to upgrade the Winery last turn. It's still building, even though the settlement would be too low level to queue it now. Something tells me this isn't working as intended, due to one of these factors.
The repair button is at the bottom of the building flyout menu - right next to the Demolish Building button. It'll be a small, round button.

You just fix it by clicking the buttons.

As Shadow88 said. Open the province list for current buildings (not browser). Select the damaged building. Where every building has the "demolish" button at the bottom, this should alos have a similar button for "repair". With an associated cost. Click that. Repairs should only take a turn or so.

Yeah, I see the Demolish button, but no Repair button in this case.

I gather settlements cannot be repaired if they lose a level via raid (the lv 1 barracks also disappeared, since construction space was lost, I guess). It's not game breaking. The next turn, the "must repair" messages on all the buildings in the building browser go away, and are replaced by standard "need construction slot" messages. The Winery/Orchard above the settlement lvl finished construction without any problem, which is a little odd.

I suppose the overall damaging effects of the raid are as intended, but it's just confusing on your turn afterward, when everything's telling you you need to repair, but there's no option to do so. All you can do is rebuild your settlement level (and any other lost building) to what it was before.

Ah yes, if you get sacked, everything gets downgraded. If you get hit by an agent effect, things get damaged.
Yeah; downgrade and repair are two different things. A building that needs to be repaired will have a darker, dirt-covered icon with a big crack running down the middle.
