Does fatigue from army stances ever recover?
I've tried marching my vampires into the badlands to fight on several occasions but the tiredness from raiding stance never seems to go away and then I lose due to tired units. Doesn't seem to go away from fast march either. This makes playing as the vamps a bit difficult, as how the heck am I supposed to fight more than one turn out from corrupted land? What am I supposed to do when the greenskins in the badlands declare war on me? Am I missing something?

While I suggest you do not war with the greenskins, there are ways around this. If you attack while raiding yes you will be tired, but remember attrition only happens at the end of your turn. So approach your target in raiding stance, and then move to normal stance and strike. Of course this becomes difficult in attacking armies.

If I were you I would have an army defend my side until they get busy with someone else and/or occasionally sack them.

Of course, peace and gift spamming should be options.

Really? I didn't think vamp units could get tired.

Vamps fatigue is based on the necromantic bindings keeping them together and animated. So instead of something like "Fresh" it shows something like "Strong Bindings" or "Animated".

With Vamps you can use heroes to spread corruption, and certain buildings will corrput adjacent regions makig it easier to traverse them. If really want to fight the greenies then get in and get out is the way to do it. get in, besiege a settlement (this severaly limits or stops the attrition), sack or raze it and get out. if greenies declare war you just make sure your border provinces are defended either by an army a couple turns away or by upgraded garrisons (<-the easiest).

My situation was the greenskins declared war on me, refused peace no matter how much I offered them, and I had Chaos coming at me from the other side. I had one army avalable to go out and bloody their nose before I was stuck in a losing two front invasion, as the AI is much more amenable to make peace after losing badly. So, I sent that one army out to the badlands in raiding and was attacked by two greenskin ones. I would have been able to beat them normally, but my army was tired the whole time (orange) and stayed that way for a several minutes as the greenskins formed up and marched towards me. As soon as I got into combat my units' fatigue ended up red and useless in combat and I barely managed to kill any of them.

The end result is that I had greenskins and chaos attacking me from two sides while I was down an army. Agent spam got my other army and empire declared war on me and sent armies in from a third direction and then gg.
