Karak Zorn?
I've been playing my campaign as the Dwarves and I got a event where I got a map for Karak Zorn for -1500 treasury, But it doesn't say anything else than that, and doesn't give me a quest or anything... WHAT IS IT?! WHERE IS IT? T_T

Same event, but finished long campaign now with the dwarves. someone knows, if it is worth to continue playing the savegame? The event said, that they have a map now and start an expedition.

Just rushed 25 turns, nothing happend. Seems to be an usual random event, the only special thing is, that it came just once (and that very late) compared to the other events (like Slayers need to go to their shrine etc)

Maybe they implement some sort of special quest later?

If I remember correctly, we eventually found like 5000 gold or something after the map (like 5-10 turns later).

Maybe it's possible to not find anything, but the game simply doesn't mention it? I truly have no idea. :(

Well, seems like it's just random I guess c:

Completed my Dwarf campaign, playing my Orc campaign now and noticed that during the Azhag's Crown quest you fight at a "lost" dwarf city, maybe that is it? but it's in the north tho and according to the lore i've read Zorn is supposed to be in the south but I dunno.

I'm pretty sure it's just a random event.
I think the event applied a temporary buff that improved the range on moving through the underways. If anyone has a save file from the turn that came up (or a turn or two after), load it back up and check the icons for active effects at the top of the screen, to the right of your Treasury and Income. Mouse over them and see if any of them reference the map.

I could be thinking of a different event, though.

I wiped all the stuntys out and am now poised to go ravage the vampires. Building 2 all gaint armys just to have fun to support my main zerg. The money orks make us just sick.

In the fluff, I seem to recall Karak Zorn is way south, at the south end of the World's Edge mountains. So definately not on the current map.

Very late, but for fluff purposes; Karak Zorn is El Dorado for the dwarfs, with the twist that it's the lizardmen (inca's/aztecs) that (re)conquer it. Considering the world schism brought some of the dwarfholds in Lustria and that it has "towering Ziggurats made of gold" it's just as likely to be somewhere in the mountainous regions of Lustria, the new world. Hope it'll be a quest for an intrepid Dwarf explorer/engineer Legendary Lord (Malakai Makaisson springs to mind)

Well i dint got it, but maybe its from the DLC that will include the Tomb Kings after the Wood elves DLC.

For a fact there is a lost hold in south of where the Tomb kings reside or north of the Southlands there a map that clearly details. the location of said map right now its not visible on the game but it exist in the lore the Lizarmen from the southlands tell of the location where the hold is located here is the link.

Its even said to predate the existance of the most common holds.

http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Southlands look in the top of the map Karak Zorn it says.
